Read the community guidelinesThere were two interviewers.
They didn’t ask the applicant for much irrelevant background information about the position.
They also didn’t pry into personal matters.
The interviewers were quite polite.
They were the ones who emailed me to invite me to the interview, yet they asked why I hadn’t previously worked in this type of role but was applying for this position at their company.... I found it completely absurd.
Then, because I didn’t have experience related to the position, they assumed I was there to interview for a “part-time” position.
The other interviewer told the main interviewer that the email they had originally sent me clearly stated that it was a full-time position⋯⋯
Personally, I think this is something you should have discussed before the interview.
Instead of examining my résumé in detail only during the interview and, after deciding that I didn’t have experience in this area, asking whether I could accept part-time work... Aren’t my work experiences all clearly listed on my résumé?
They also didn’t ask whether I had any questions during the interview.
They didn’t even mention the salary at all—just told me approximately how much I could earn per month as a part-time employee.
Fine, perhaps the company doesn’t have a dedicated HR specialist; I can understand all of that.
But!
Toward the end of the interview, the interviewer even specifically promised that, once the company had completed its review, they would definitely notify me of the interview result and wouldn’t leave me waiting indefinitely without any notice.
Now a month has passed, and I haven’t heard a thing.
....If you can’t do it, don’t make promises to the other person.
I’ve already encountered several companies like this that said they would do something but didn’t follow through.
Please, you people—job hunting is already stressful and time-sensitive enough.
We also have to deal with pressure from our families, so every minute and second is precious.
Please stop wasting job seekers’ time!!
I have now found a better job.
Finally, I don’t have to keep anxiously waiting for their notification. Haha
