It would not be an exaggeration to call this a disgrace to Japanese companies.
There are absolutely no benefits (no holiday bonuses / year-end bonus).
There is no promotion path whatsoever.
Full-time salary: 27,000.
Even the store manager’s salary tops out at only 38,000.
It can take two months just to hire a store manager.
In the end, they even said that the store could simply use only part-time workers to save money.
Anyway, the Taiwanese people reporting back to the Japanese head office just say:
“Yes, yes, yes, we know the staff on site are having a hard time.”
“When I worked in Taiwan in the early days, I didn’t have a year-end bonus either.” (Who cares whether you had a year-end bonus?)
If you weren’t hired after the interview, you should really consider yourself lucky!!
The Japanese managers are obsessed with control,
or
it’s absolutely terrible.
