Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations to this... company—it has finally dissolved!
Poor hiring decisions! The internal scheming and infighting are no less intense than in *The Empresses in the Palace*, *Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace*, and *The Glory*...
When this company opened a new recruitment drive for customer service specialists in Neihu that year, during the interview invitation process, I kept listening to this female supervisor surnamed Hsiao say that she had been personally headhunted by the chairman... and so on. The entire interview was just listening to her indulge in self-congratulatory nonsense...
A female supervisor in the customer service department, surnamed Hsiao and whose English name begins with M, is incapable but loves to talk nonsense. She joined forces with colleagues in the department to bully an employee (me), and often chatted in the customer service room before and after work, gossiping and badmouthing people... then clocked overtime after work... extremely scheming! (Her favorite ideal type is the Korean star Jang Keun-suk.) Disgusting...
The girl at the front desk was originally very responsible and attractive, but she was laid off in the wave of cuts before the Lunar New Year.
The company originally had two centers: one responsible for games, and the other for the platform and network.
There were many strong people on the other side, but in the wave of layoffs before the Lunar New Year, almost the entire center was unexpectedly cut.
Previously, whenever there were problems, you could ask the strong people across from us; there were several strong people over there at the time.
Senior management kept changing direction. Things they originally said not to do might suddenly be changed to “do it” for some unclear reason.
A wave of layoffs suddenly came before the New Year, and they unexpectedly started by laying off senior employees.
After the layoffs, they said requirements were frozen, but then they wanted to work on requirements again.
After the New Year, they may have realized they had cut too deeply, so they increased salaries and rehired some people who were not senior.
The senior manager in charge of the platform and network was an absolute piece of garbage.
The two strong people leading the game team on the other side were Big Qiang and Little Qiang.
I heard Little Qiang was driven away in anger before the New Year.
Before the New Year, they even laid off Big Qiang, the leader, along with the entire team.
The company’s senior management had no idea how a technology company operates.
The so-called supervisors assigned here were also unprofessional.
I really don’t know how the two supervisors in charge of QA and the network got their positions.
They later brought in someone who seemed to be a project lead, and that person was even more out of touch.
More importantly, there was already a large gap in technical skill between the two teams.
A lot of the time, the strong people from the other side were helping out over here.
Now all the strong people have left.
If you want to get things done here, you will be bored to death.
So it wasn’t long after this experience that I immediately left.
Very close to the MRT station
Free all-you-can-eat vending machines
A major round of layoffs before the Lunar New Year
They also can't retain people who are capable of getting things done
Then they offer raises to bring back the people they laid off
They actually do things like this?
Jack, this is truly amazing!
Both the front-end and back-end teams in the games department are very enjoyable to work with
The company is experiencing serious internal infighting
There were massive layoffs before the New Year, and after the New Year the company rehired employees who had been laid off
Senior management is now unable to stabilize the situation
Strong employees are gradually leaving because everyone can no longer tolerate the senior management’s leadership style
There is a snack vending machine
The cute girl disappeared
Power struggles among senior management
Useless QA manager
The managers are all nice, there’s a free snack vending machine, and the technology used is relatively new.
Flexible clock-in and clock-out.
There was a massive round of layoffs before the New Year, and many people left before completing their probationary period. It’s a bit outrageous.
The girls at the front desk and in HR are very cute, and they also help order boxed lunches and snacks. The company provides drinks and afternoon tea. Other than that, I really don't know what else there is.
There are a lot of internal power struggles!
The whole company seems to have lost much of its upward momentum.
The layoffs before the Lunar New Year were very severe; it's not a company that strong employees would want to stay at.
The front desk orders boxed lunches.
It feels like they’re just there to gain interview experience. They don’t even know what language the job seeker writes in, and they haven’t even looked at the résumé.
They’re all people who haven’t stayed long. There are many internal problems, and the turnover rate is extremely high.
A waste of job seekers’ time—completely baffling.
