There is no salary, and the benefits are not good either. The work environment is even worse.
I can't think of any advantages.
The company’s address was impossible to find. It turned out to be a rather old three-bedroom, two-living-room apartment, with a wooden door that looked like something a grandfather would still use in this day and age.
The environment was lifeless.
It would have been bad enough to make candidates wait for the interview, but during the interview they also answered phone calls and checked messages. The questions they asked were very strange too.
They asked, “Which area do you want to develop your career in in the future?” I answered Taipei, and then he asked “Why?”—I was just as confused as he was.
It turned out that they ask about careers by geographic area.
I had already applied for the position I wanted, yet they still asked what kind of position I wanted to do.
They went around in circles with this question for almost half an hour. After finally finishing, they lectured me a bit (“Don’t package yourself”), while packaging their own company themselves.
During the pandemic, not wearing a mask would have been bad enough, but they also told people to take off their masks. I was completely dumbfounded.
They seemed to be living entirely in their own world. The interview was not taking place in the same time and space.
They couldn’t offer a decent salary and wouldn’t even say the amount out loud, yet they still wanted a second interview. You could count the employees on less than one hand, but they acted as if the company were huge.
They couldn’t even offer NT$30,000. What a joke.
Don’t waste your time. This is genuinely my sincere advice—the most disappointing company I interviewed with.
None
The company withheld wages and had no intention of addressing the issue, forcing me to attend labor-management mediation and go to court.
