I applied for a translator position, but after arriving at the company (a factory in Thailand), I was unexpectedly required to take on multiple roles.
The hours discussed in the interview—8 a.m. to 5 p.m.—were just a pretense; after arriving in Thailand, the schedule was actually 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The company agreed during the interview to provide labor and health insurance, but after I resigned, they claimed that dispatched employees were not covered by labor and health insurance. (They still deducted the premiums from my salary, saying, “You have to pay for the labor and health insurance yourself because you’re a dispatched employee, haha.”)
In summary: The company’s systems are inadequate, there are absolutely no processes to speak of, and its integrity is questionable. Applicants, please think twice!!!
The interviewers all seemed very nice.
There are absolutely no benefits, and turnover is high.
Everything looks good
When asked whether the company has any employee benefits,
there is no answer.
There are simply no benefits—no company gatherings, no bonuses.
Excellent at putting on a show
