Occasionally, one or two highly capable newcomers join, but they never stay long. Overall, the atmosphere is lifeless.

It feels like the mechanical engineer position is just a role for checking off KPIs. When asked about details, they evaded the important points. The whole process felt more like finding someone to evaluate a project than actually interviewing for this position. Even if you meet the requirements, you still have to wait for notification. Unless you are confident you will be hired, don’t take time off specifically to come for the evaluation. If you have important plans, avoid scheduling it.
High pressure, but it can force you to improve.
Management is very disorganized, and many long-time employees slack off and are very good at shifting blame. New employee turnover is high.
However, a small number of people still work very hard.
