Have to work overtime every day, and they don't even pay overtime...
This company is recommended for administrative staff. Being an administrative staff member is fairly okay; basic benefits are provided, but there is nothing extra.
There is something very strange here: I was actually interviewed for a designer position, not an engineer position. However, the designers here are classified as engineers. (I heard that this company does not have a designer position.)
Something ridiculous happened: the senior designer in the department is responsible for assigning and reviewing the work of other designers, but what this colleague says is always inconsistent with the content of the company's internal project emails, resulting in endless revisions and being reprimanded in a vicious cycle.
My advice: If you are applying for a position in an agency or a department seeking designers rather than administrative staff, run away.
The company looks very nice.
A completely dishonest company. After the interview, I received a call saying that the supervisor urgently needed someone and hoped I could start the following week, but the offer letter would only be sent later, after the approval process was completed two days afterward. I was foolish enough to believe them and be understanding of the company’s lengthy procedures and urgent need to hire, so I agreed that I could resign immediately and start the following week.
As a result, I received no notification at all until before my start date. When I called to ask about it myself, all I got was the supervisor saying that my start date had been put on hold. They had no intention of notifying me proactively or handling the matter. Truly awful.
I have never encountered a worse company in my career.
I’ve done some pretty lousy jobs, but I’ve never encountered a situation as absurd as this publicly listed company’s. I thought having stock options would mean it would score at least 50 or 60 points, but it turned out to score only 40. I’m giving all the points to my supervisor for treating me relatively fairly.
Job responsibilities are extremely unclear. The duties originally associated with the position get supplemented by demands that other people suddenly think of. I’m forced to take on multiple roles without any increase in pay. The work itself isn’t difficult, but they make it unnecessarily complicated. Ordinary tasks end up requiring overtime, yet there is no overtime pay. Dealing with people is more difficult than dealing with work matters. Even if all you want is to keep your head down and do your own job properly, you won’t be happy here.
The company benefits are pretty good.
Do not apply for the Business Management Specialist position under any circumstances. They are still hiring for it to this day. I encountered a supervisor who knew nothing and would even get physical. When I went there, I discovered that many people had already left. The supervisor would only dump tasks on new hires.
The company environment is fairly good.
The HR staff are quite friendly.
It is in a relatively remote area of the Huaya Technology Park, so you have to take a taxi there yourself.
Regardless of the issue, I answered the supervisor’s questions one by one. I also made it clear from the beginning that my previous experience was not in the power supply field, but they still made things difficult for me at every turn and used this as an excuse to try to lower the salary. I feel this was a negative point. You can sense that it still has the characteristics of a traditional manufacturing company, with a relatively conservative culture and a strong sense of hierarchy between superiors and subordinates.
