Read the community guidelinesBecause this work is related to my field of study and expertise, I took the job. The colleagues are easy to get along with, meals are provided at no deduction from pay, and there is a parking lot.
1. The office has an altar dedicated to Tudigong, so there may be the smell of incense from worship. People with nasal allergies may not find this suitable.
2. The company manager, Ms. Chan (a Libra), said one thing during the interview about the benefits and conditions, then later changed her story and denied having said it. The company required part-time employees to sign fixed-term contracts, even though there had been no prior agreement to sign a contract before joining or interviewing. I was suddenly informed that after completing the three-month probationary period, the company would require me to sign a contract.
3. I subsequently continued to request full-time employee benefits. Before the Lunar New Year, at the end of January 2022, it was agreed that I would give the supervisor an answer. I did reply during that period, but when work resumed in February, I learned that the manager had interfered with the supervisor’s hiring decision, meaning I could not take a full-time position. Throughout the matter, the manager’s decisions were wavering and unpredictable, and she even tried to shirk responsibility! The manager worships Tudigong every day, which I found extremely hypocritical! I truly hope that the manager’s children never encounter a supervisor like her in the future.
3. The head chef in the kitchen, born in 1993, has a very arrogant attitude and will scold people. Please think carefully before applying!
