The company really does pay overtime. If you work beyond regular hours on weekday evenings, the boss basically won’t make things difficult.

The boss is very emotional and has an artist’s temperament. If he is in a bad mood during a meeting, even the most senior employees may get inexplicably berated.

Also, the boss himself is not very good at managing the company or assigning people. A project worth NT$300,000 may have five or six people assigned to support it, while projects worth over NT$1 million are met with great reluctance to allocate staff.

Also, the boss loves holding meetings but is extremely unpunctual. It’s not as though no one reminds him of the meeting times—the boss is late to every meeting by at least half an hour, whether it’s with clients or internal meetings. He has a very poor sense of time.

Also, you absolutely cannot expect the boss to be the responsible type. At the time, we jointly presented a proposal externally with the head office. The design drawings led by the boss were rejected by the chairman, but the boss did not step forward and say that it was his concept; instead, he let the designers under him get scolded.

Moreover, some clients say that the boss is very lackadaisical, but perhaps this kind of behavior is more readily accepted in the design industry...
