Absolutely stunned. 1111通知 told me that I met the requirements and hoped I would come in for an interview.
Today, when I arrived there and entered the office, I said I was there for an interview.
A man called the boss's wife and asked her to come down to interview me.
After waiting a while, an elderly woman appeared, about the same age as my grandmother.
She asked me to give her my résumé to look at.
I even wondered whether she could read.
After looking it over, she immediately said in Taiwanese, “Sorry, miss, you’re not really suitable.”
Damn.
I almost replied, “Thank goodness.”
Don't know
I arrived early for the scheduled interview, but the interviewer merely glanced over my résumé and said they would keep it and contact me if needed. They provided absolutely no explanation of the job responsibilities, company benefits, or questions for the interviewee, and simply sent me home. It felt like they weren't genuinely hiring and were just wasting the interviewee's time.
