The boss has a terrible temper and berates people as if they were dogs
The salary for internal office staff is slightly higher because there are few employees and they have to do many, many things; they even have to repair the computer themselves when it breaks down. Sales staff have a low starting salary, but the company provides a car and a mobile phone, and every year it takes sales employees who have stayed for a long time on a trip to mainland China.
The boss is under 50, but has a very, very bad temper. He often loses his temper over minor things and throws things; only people who can tolerate this can stay. He often scolds people first without distinguishing right from wrong, and if he is unhappy, he tells you to leave; sometimes he provides severance pay. Sales staff have to work on Saturdays and are also often asked to help deliver goods. It is very difficult for internal office staff to take leave because there are too few people and no one to cover for them. I have heard that some people did not even dare to take bereavement leave. There is no clocking-in system, and when there is too much work to finish, employees have to stay late or come in on holidays to complete it, with no overtime pay.
