The interviewer was a kind woman who introduced the job responsibilities and asked about my family situation (she said they had been taken advantage of before, so that was why she asked). When discussing the salary, she mentioned performance bonuses and similar things. She also said that some people didn’t want to pay too much tax, so their labor insurance would be insured at the minimum level.

First, regarding the bonus: personally, I feel that applying the sales department’s incentive system to graphic designers like us, whose work is based purely on professional skills, is really just an excuse to keep the salary and benefits low. As for the labor insurance: my labor insurance contributions should correspond to my salary bracket. Insuring employees only at the minimum level is inherently problematic. As a liquor company, being this stingy makes me feel that their attitude is misguided.

Finally, the interviewer said that if I was interested in the job after going home, I could email them, and they would give me a test to complete. If they thought the work was satisfactory, they would hire me. I also think this is a major problem—it feels like they are having applicants create designs for them for free. Furthermore, just a few minutes earlier, she had asked about my speed at producing drafts, yet the test would not be conducted on-site; instead, it would be done as this kind of “take-home assignment.” Although she strongly denied it, I honestly found it hard to believe her.
