Read the community guidelines1. It’s rare in the engineering field to find a boss who is easy to get along with.
2. Lunch is provided with a drink; if you don’t eat lunch, you can exchange it for NT$100 in cash.
3. The work is straightforward.
1. The apprentices are of poor quality: some are fraudsters involved in lawsuits, some have mental illnesses, and some are full of lies and excuses.
2. The boss and his wife like to save small amounts of money only to spend much more later. For example, there is only one uniform per person; electrical helmets are scavenged from former employees; consumables and tools are haggled over with the contractor, and then the tools fail inspection, delaying the work progress and resulting in losses.
3. The equipment is both cheap and outdated. When they don’t buy better-quality equipment, they always blame employees for not taking care of it. The problem is that the boss doesn’t value it either... nor does he care about occupational safety.
4. They do not fully staff the positions because they consider it a waste of costs, then resort to emotional blackmail when someone in a key position is about to resign.
5. The boss and his wife make grand promises, but when employees ask for what was promised, they haggle over every detail and cut back here and there. They have no sense.
