Maybe it’s because this is the technology industry, but are all the people sitting in offices made of wood? Someone came for an interview and had already been waiting for 30 minutes, yet no one even greeted them. They just left the interviewee sitting in a chair waiting for the supervisor. Interviewees are people too and have their own schedules; it’s not as though they all have to kneel and beg others to give them a job. Does this mean the supervisor and HR fundamentally failed to coordinate before asking someone to come for an interview? Even if the interviewer had to attend a meeting, they shouldn’t have simply left the interviewee there unattended. Shouldn’t they have informed the interviewee in advance, or rescheduled or canceled the interview? This is extremely unprofessional. If the supervisor is like this, their subordinates probably won’t have an easy time either.
