Read the community guidelinesThe salary is good for a recent graduate.
During the interview, they first tell you that the company’s employees have an average annual salary of 7x, and that they mostly interview fresh graduates.
The company’s turnover rate is extremely high. If an annual salary of 7x–8x (including bonuses) still cannot retain employees, you should think carefully before joining.
There are many tedious work reports. After driving home at 6 p.m., you still have to spend an hour completing reports, so you cannot rest until 8 or 9 p.m.
The working hours are long. They say work starts at 9 a.m., but you have to arrive at the company at 8 a.m. to print documents and attend a meeting at 9. The end time is uncertain.
There is GPS tracking of your daily itinerary, and the supervisor checks the GPS against your daily reports whenever they have nothing else to do.
Fuel expenses are calculated using GPS. If you do not turn on the GPS, that day’s fuel expenses will not be counted.
The base salary is NT$28,000. Officially, the company provides a monthly subsidy of NT$5,000; employees who ride motorcycles receive the same NT$5,000. The supervisor tells you that nothing is fair.
When you resign, the company will ask you to sign for withheld expenses, which will only be returned after one month.
As a sales representative, you should be mentally prepared to lose money. For returns, the company supervisor requires you to provide a reason and persuade them why the item was returned. If you cannot, be prepared to pay for it yourself. When resigning, you must properly handle the items (returns/expiration dates). Otherwise, the supervisor will only call to ask how they should be handled—which means they want you to buy them yourself.
