The job differs from the description posted on 104. The interviewer kept insisting that a graphic designer should have planning skills, but he never clearly stated that he wanted a graphic designer capable of performing both roles. He considered the applicant’s magazine, catalog, and DM designs to be mere simple layouts rather than design. What he wanted was a graphic designer who could produce whatever he wanted without being given any materials or instructions.
