The interview felt very disrespectful, and the way she spoke made me very uncomfortable. However, I was very polite toward the interviewer. Throughout the interview, she did not say anything and expected me to ask questions proactively; when I did, she responded, “What do you mean?
When I asked about the work process and job responsibilities, she again replied, “What do you mean?” When I asked about salary and benefits, she responded, “What kind of benefits?” What does that mean?
She kept asking me, “So, what salary do you expect?” After I stated my expected salary, she replied that it was impossible, said that overtime would definitely be required, and was unwilling to say whether overtime pay was provided.
If they had no intention of hiring anyone from the beginning, they should not have asked people to come for an interview. Their communication clearly has major problems.
