Pros

The salary is so low that you don't need to pay taxes.

Cons

1. The company's salary (100%) is approximately made up of base salary (30%) + various allowances (70%),

so the amounts for National Health Insurance, labor insurance, and the 6% pension contribution are all very, very, very low.

2. No one knows how overtime pay is calculated, and it is even lower than the hourly wage from working part-time at a convenience store.

3. There is a severe shortage of staff, and everyone takes on multiple roles. An increase in responsibilities does not necessarily come with a raise. Once responsibilities increase to a certain extent, the most you might get is a raise of 500.

How much additional responsibility is needed to get that 500 raise depends on the mood of senior management. However, when senior management wants to privately curry favor with specific employees, they will casually find an excuse to add 500 to some allowance. If you want a raise, threaten to resign. At most, they may give you a few hundred or a thousand more, while making your duties even heavier. But you can try threatening to resign several more times and see how many times they will give you a raise. Otherwise, you have to wait three to five years just to get a few hundred or a thousand more. (I heard that some people threatened to resign, and senior management gave everyone a raise to calm things down.)

4. Although the leave policy is constantly being revised, the more you curry favor with senior management, the easier it is to take leave. Senior management really hates employees taking annual leave. If you take annual leave, you should be prepared to be worked particularly hard by senior management around that time, because they think, “Wow, you’re really enjoying yourself, taking annual leave to go out and have fun.” If you use annual leave for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, senior management will say that four days of annual leave must be deducted. Annual leave can be exchanged for cash at 880 per day.

5. There is no year-end banquet, and there may or may not be a spring banquet (it is simply a meal, so don't expect raffle prizes or cash awards). There may or may not be employee trips (there hasn't been one for a long time). The fixed bonuses for the three major holidays and Labor Day are 1,000 each. Every year, the company says it did not make money, and sometimes even says it almost could not pay the year-end bonus. If there is a year-end bonus, it is a fixed amount of approximately one month's salary. However, all senior managers live very comfortably—renovating, changing cars, and buying houses.

6. There is no system for anything; everything depends on the mood of senior management. All senior managers in this family-owned company are relatives or friends.

7. The company is unwilling to spend money on a factory building, so it is hidden inside a residential property. It is small and leaky, with the offices, warehouse, and production line all crammed into an apartment. Items are constantly being reorganized and moved to make space for operations.

8. Senior management often causes problems, but all they do is grin sheepishly and ask employees to clean up the mess.
