The manager is extremely emotional and treats employees unequally. There is no overtime pay, no menstrual leave for women, and unused annual leave is not proactively compensated. Employees are also arbitrarily fined, and staff turnover is extremely high.
The manager at the time was excellent at execution and strategy, and was also very good at helping subordinates clarify their responsibilities. A manager you could have heart-to-heart conversations with and be friends with.
The company’s senior decision-makers kept changing; they lacked focus when speaking and also engaged in personal attacks.
The company experienced frequent mass resignations.
Beauticians were paid extremely low salaries. I suggest changing the bonus system; the first thing introduced was a set of penalty rules. They would also make arbitrary deductions from employees’ pay.
At the company banquet, employees were even required to film the boss’s or the boss’s wife’s daughter.
When making proposals at work, they would get offended and react angrily. When followed up with, they would say, “I have more experience than you, so you’re not allowed to do it this way.”
Sales staff competed with one another for performance credit, and even voluntary resignations were publicly described as dismissals.
After you submitted your resignation, the boss would treat you as if you were invisible.
They even required all employees in the chat group to watch designated mainland Chinese dramas after work; anyone who had not watched them would be reprimanded.
