Pros

There are quite a few foreign customers, so there are plenty of opportunities if you want to practice speaking English.

You will learn that not everyone is genuinely kind, so you need to protect yourself carefully.

If everything is clearly written on the receipts, the accounting staff are very cooperative; the accountant is a good person.

Your ability to learn independently will improve. If you are someone who pursues self-directed learning, you can improve in everything from computers to communicating in foreign languages.

Cons

The husband-and-wife owners of this company are two people full of lies. They love making empty promises and have very little trust in their employees, so please think carefully before joining.

They are very good at painting an unrealistic picture. The promised commission and raises are only for reference. And not to mention that labor law is supposed to be the minimum standard—in this place, they cannot even meet the standards required by labor law.

As for whether they respect professional expertise, there is no need to discuss it. If you leave work late because customers are shopping or because you are serving customers, there is no overtime pay.

The owners, a husband and wife, will start berating people before they have even clarified the situation themselves.

The checkout process is complicated, and the POS system is extremely basic with no membership system. However, when customers buy a main unit, you are still required to collect their name and phone number.

When customers who have made multiple purchases ask, “Didn’t you keep my information? Can’t you look up the records?” you can only respond with an awkward laugh. The owners have no intention of spending money on a membership system.

For in-store sales, regardless of what customers want, you must find a way to retain their information. If you let a customer leave empty-handed, the owner will rush out and repeatedly ask what the customer wanted and why they did not buy anything. They do not intend to believe what you say; they will just keep repeating the same questions.

Even if a customer leaves their phone number to ask about product availability, all they will get is another empty promise from the owner, who will not actually follow up.

If you manage to retain a deposit and establish a pre-order, you will experience the company’s abysmal efficiency firsthand. Time and again, customers have to call, ask, and become angry before the item finally appears.

Repairs are also frequently followed by customers calling to ask why there has been no update. Even after reminding the owner repeatedly to respond to customers, they simply keep putting it off. If you are sending a machine here for repair, think carefully.

Although online reviews should only be taken as a reference, in this case, they are quite highly indicative.

The information asymmetry is extreme, and changing instructions from one day to the next is already routine. Make sure you are exceptionally good at reading minds before coming to work here. The owners have an improper attitude and completely distrust their employees. If you have the courage to work here, protect yourself carefully and keep evidence for your own sake, so that they do not forget what they themselves said, cause a problem, and then turn around and blame you, shifting the responsibility onto you.

The company loves operating in gray areas and will install pirated software for customers. This has appeared in the news before, so please protect yourself and make absolutely sure you do not get involved in this.

There is no employee training; everything must be learned independently.

They think that giving employees convenience and flexibility benefits both sides, but in reality, it only makes the company feel that you are easy to bully and will not dare to speak up. What the company claims is good for employees is merely an attempt to evade the law.
