The company also often organizes gatherings that employees can attend.

Cons

This is a very hypocritical company

Almost all the information on 104 is fake.

No need to travel for work --> False. During your probationary period, you will spend about half of your week sitting in the office.

Work benefits --> False. They will cut your salary under the pretext of your suitability.

Working hours --> Basically, no one leaves on time, and lunch breaks may also be cut.

All of this will happen as long as you are still on probation.

Once you make it through probation, the senior manager will give you a big “gift package.”

That’s right: they will make you drive a manual-transmission truck.

You will advance from cargo mover to driver.

(Unless you can’t drive—in that case, you won’t get hired.)

Here, you won’t be trusted either.

There are at least 12 surveillance cameras in the work environment.

Of course, they don’t trust your professional abilities either.

You have to get through the probationary period (1–6 months) before they will let you do professional work, such as marketing.

Unless your skill is immediately useful, such as design; in that case, you can enjoy staying in the office.

Operating any platform requires double or even triple checks.

You have to write down every single thing you do in the daily work report.

Even so, you can still easily see errors on the platforms.

The corporate culture here is teamwork and a passion for learning.

Here, you can learn

how to be the person on duty, how to use a microwave, how to clean the manager’s teacup, and how to fill water for the golden rooster and Pixiu statues.

The employees there will be very happy to teach you.

Everyone here is frighteningly close-knit.

They are unanimous in their messaging like a religion, and every employee is a salesperson with a glib tongue.

You have to be very careful here. Even if you try hard to ask about the work, you won’t be able to find out much.

You’ll understand when you encounter it yourself.

They will constantly brainwash you into believing that this is a good company,

that you can learn many, many things—of course... it’s just a little tiring.

At first, I thought everyone loved the company and voluntarily stayed behind to finish their work before leaving.

The company operates on a responsibility-based system; if you haven’t finished, take it home to do. At most, the company will keep the office open for you until eight.

Since I started, I haven’t seen the e-commerce department leave work on time even once.

Later, I found out that the reason everyone “voluntarily” works overtime is that overtime has to be applied for “in advance”; applying on the same day is basically useless.

The company has dress-code regulations.

Men must wear collared shirts, while women are expected to wear neat suits, and everyone must wear an ID badge.

Polo shirts are recommended here; under no circumstances should you wear a dress shirt.

You will be moving goods every day, and if you happen to go into the warehouse, your dress shirt will be ruined~

The senior manager (the boss) talks a lot and holds a meeting every Monday and Friday without fail.

Each meeting lasts at least 1.5 hours, with the most outrageous lasting four hours.

That means half a day is spent in meetings. He is especially good at calling everyone into a meeting before the end of the workday.

And every time there is hardly any substance, of course with no overtime pay.

When you are close to completing your probation, you had better stay alert.

There will be unexpected “surprises” designed to make you make mistakes. If you are assigned a platform with poor sales performance, it is best to request reassignment.

If you don’t get a shopping center with good sales, I recommend resigning directly. The boss will demand that the performance of the auction or mall exceed that of the shopping center. If the boss is dissatisfied, he will target the employee with the worst performance.

He will also berate you about your performance more than twice a week and threaten to fire you.

If there is no improvement, he will obsessively record faults; each fault results in a NT$500 salary deduction.

After probation, he will call you into a room for a secret meeting (of course, after work).

If you are deemed unsuitable, he will ask you to resign “voluntarily.”

He only follows some of all these rules.

In addition, he acts like a strict father, earnestly lecturing you about certain things,

such as tucking in your shirt, not letting your hair get too thick so you don’t look listless, and taking your coffee out to drink.

They will desperately brainwash everyone. They say they are not looking for people who view this job as just a job,

but people who regard it as their own “career.”

The pay won’t be high, and there are no performance bonuses because the targets they set are impossible to reach.

This company looks very cohesive, but internally it is actually quite disorganized.

Everyone is thinking about how to get by.

Going to work feels like grinding levels in a game.

If you want to do marketing, you must start with engineering.

After enduring severe torment, you can finally reach an e-commerce marketing position.

Of course, if you are a woman, you won’t have these problems.

You can clear the level quickly.

I do not recommend that men join this company; there are too many miscellaneous tasks.

Unless you really want to learn and spend your whole life making wall mounts,

or you truly have no specialized skills—in that case, welcome to come here and get some experience.

Pros

Colleagues get along well and help one another

Cons

1. Company policies are frequently changed; deducting 1.5 times the amount for personal leave violates the Labor Standards Act.

2. There are no well-established operating procedures, so work is often done according to management's ideas.
