No overtime pay is provided for working overtime. Employees are also required to help the company move on holidays, without any subsidy or compensatory leave. Employees are expected not to take their lunch break on time and not to leave work on time. Everything is justified with statements such as “That’s what you’re supposed to do” (the supervisor’s responsibilities become mine, while when asked to do something that is actually their responsibility, they say they have never done it and don’t know how), “In a private company, there is no such thing as ‘wait a moment’” (but whenever I need to find you, you make me wait a long time), and “You’re actually not workers at all” (then why am I enrolled in labor insurance?), among others, in an attempt to rationalize the company’s exploitation of its employees. The boss’s relatives, who know nothing about the work, are also parachuted in as supervisors. Neither the supervisors nor the boss ever directly tell employees how things should be done, but verbal humiliation and sarcastic remarks are never in short supply.
Here are some issues other colleagues have complained about for everyone’s reference: When colleagues smoke on the balcony, the smell drifts back into the office; it makes no difference whether smoking is officially prohibited. The transportation allowance promised by the company also has hidden conditions, and the amount is reduced if those conditions are not met.
