The boss is very greedy and wants to take on every project, from textbook tenders and direct-selling projects to program projects, without caring at all whether the company can handle the huge workload. Employees working until the early hours of the morning is an everyday occurrence, and there have even been several times when we stayed until sunrise!! But no matter how many projects we complete, the salary stays the same~ Even when there is a pay raise, it's only a measly NT$2,000 more!
Although compensatory leave is available, the criteria for approving it are extremely strict: you have to clock out at 11 p.m. for it to count as half a day! If I work until 9 p.m. and want to leave, I'm basically doing charity and contributing my labor to the company for free!
