Read the community guidelinesThe year-end banquet was pretty good
The atmosphere of internal infighting is very intense. The supervisors don't care whether you live or die, you work overtime to death, they're first-rate at shirking responsibility, and third-rate at getting things done
Fortunately, it was an online interview—I didn’t have to go see those two scumbags.
There were three interviewers.
Two of them were extremely disrespectful and invaded my privacy, asking a bunch of personal questions, and they were also very late.
For example, they asked whether I was married, whether I had a partner, where my family lived, my exact address, whether we rented or owned our home, how many people were in my family,
and what industry we worked in.
The HR representative and the manager also made me wait a very long time at the beginning. They asked me to send a link to my portfolio on the spot, even though it was already included on my résumé.
The entire process, from beginning to end, was a huge waste of my time.
They behaved very disrespectfully. I had already provided my portfolio, and they hadn’t even looked at it.
Highly not recommended. I gave up on this interview immediately.
Fortunately, it was only an online interview.
The interviewer was extremely disrespectful.
They kept asking personal questions and ultimately went so far as to ask whether I was a lesbian, saying outright that this meant there would be no maternity leave issues. What a disgusting company.
From HR to the manager, they also made me wait a very long time at the beginning. They asked me to send a link to my work on the spot, even though it was clearly already included on my résumé.
They spent the entire interview looking through it, which was a complete waste of my time.
I strongly do not recommend this company. I gave up on this interview immediately.
1. Online interview
2. Two managers conducted the interview together
1. At the very beginning of the interview, they asked about every family member’s occupation and age, as well as detailed personal information about the emergency contact, including their home address
2. The interviewing manager was extremely disrespectful, made disparaging remarks, and repeatedly said that my previous work experience was unrelated to the position I applied for, even though it was clearly in the same field. They had evidently done no preparation for the interview
3. When asking about my work experience at a previous company, they said, “You previously worked at that... XX company. Tell me what you did there?”
4. I felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected throughout the entire online interview
Leaving work on time
The head of the news department treats employees as tools and has no regard for them at all. If things don't go his way, he starts yelling profanity. The harmony among colleagues is only superficial, so think carefully before joining.
