Pros

The salary is barely acceptable, and the clock-in system can be accessed remotely.

Cons

An outsourced company whose main work involves taking on projects related to the Environmental Protection Bureau. However, the project leads and senior management lack the corresponding professional expertise and often casually agree to miscellaneous tasks outside the contract, causing considerable trouble for the employees below them. The pressure is excessive, leading to outcomes ranging from resignation to serious physical and mental health issues. The administration makes things difficult at every turn. Although menstrual leave is listed as a benefit, it must be approved by a manager—even when that person is on leave. Salaries are delayed when they coincide with holidays. Sick leave and personal leave must go through a system that has not been updated for a long time, and approvals often require reminders to senior management. If the deadline is missed, the leave must be counted as personal leave (meaning it is unpaid). There is no overtime pay, and taking consecutive compensatory leave will attract scrutiny. The Kaohsiung office is a townhouse with no parking lot and a cluttered environment. The first-floor restroom does not even have a place to wash your hands (possibly because the sink area is so piled with miscellaneous items that there is nowhere to use it). Strictly speaking, it does not even meet residential standards. The company habitually tries to retain employees with money. The “three-holiday bonuses” mentioned among the benefits are not actually bonuses—only gift boxes or NT$500 PX Mart vouchers. Hiring is careless: as long as applicants meet the Environmental Protection Bureau’s educational requirements, they are almost automatically hired. The company does not know how to protect its own employees. In short, it is a complete mess; think carefully, then think even more carefully before applying.
