On the first day of work, you are not required to submit any documents or information. Even if you decide not to continue after working for one or two days, you will not be paid; this is to test whether new hires will run off.
It is recommended to ask in advance whether you will be paid starting from the first day. Even if you work for one or two days for free, it is really frustrating to receive no pay.
