The company is located in a building, but the address found on Google is somewhat different from the entrance location, so I don't know whether this is still the case.
When I first entered the company, the interviewing manager asked me to sit down, then asked an assistant (?) to print out my résumé. After waiting for 1–2 minutes, the assistant printed a copy and handed it to the manager. Only then did the manager start looking at my résumé, and then proceeded to ask questions about each item in my experience. The fact that the résumé had not been reviewed beforehand alone made my impression of the company drop somewhat.
Next, the manager briefly introduced the job duties, but the more I listened, the more something seemed off. The job posting said “lubricant sales specialist,” and most of the company’s official website introduces industrial lubricants, with only a small portion devoted to automotive lubricants. So at first I thought the role would mainly focus on industrial lubricants, with automotive lubricants as a secondary focus. It turns out I had overthought it: the manager said the industrial position was only available in Kaohsiung, while positions in Tainan all involved selling automotive lubricants. Well, okay—thank you very much.
Could you please state things clearly in the job posting first? What are the benefits of being clear? You wouldn't have to make time to review a job applicant’s résumé during the interview, and the applicant wouldn’t have to make a special trip here either. Everyone would be happy.
