An older woman doing the printing misprinted a large number of color boxes. Then, afraid that she would be found out, she had someone keep watch and told us part-time student workers to wipe off the misprinted boxes, using a chemical solvent. Our hands were injured from wiping them. When we told the older woman that we needed to wear gloves while wiping, she shouted, “Just do whatever you’re told to do.” The older woman herself is also a part-time worker, yet she sits in the packaging area chatting and slacking off, choosing only easy, simple tasks to do, all because she knows how to suck up to the team leader. By noon, when we wanted to have a good rest, the older woman and the older administrative staff kept gossiping about others, and they were incredibly loud. Fortunately, I was only there as a part-time worker; if I had stayed for long, these people would have driven me crazy sooner or later.

There’s fried chicken skin to eat 👍

Some people slack off in the cleanroom and don’t come out to help; others are even more outrageous, using their incredible footwork to dump the work they were supposed to do on the PT, then eating fried chicken skin in the corner. Do they take me for an idiot??? The chicken skin is really tasty, right!?

I originally wanted to find a part-time job, but unexpectedly ended up at a very peculiar place. All work is done based on experience, with no paper records. The old hands do not work, and the long-term part-time employees spend all day gossiping about others. The supervisors do not manage anything, allowing the old hands to run rampant. It is a biotechnology industry, yet people can actually eat in the workplace, and employees can even leave their shoes on the worktables. The smell is so bad that the entire work area reeks of salted fish.
