Pros

Pros

1. Punctual working hours

2. The boss sometimes buys boxed lunches for everyone to eat together

3. The boss's wife is very friendly, but all matters, big or small, at the company are still primarily decided by the boss

4. The boss shares some of his experience with you

5. Even though the company has fewer than five employees, it still provides labor and health insurance

Cons

1. Each week, employees take turns being responsible for cleaning: sweeping the floors and taking out the trash every day, and cleaning the restroom on Fridays. If you forget, you have to redo the duties for an entire week

2. The boss even monitors the length of your fingernails, cares about many small details, and places great importance on being treated politely

3. The boss has a very bad temper. When he reprimands someone, it lasts about an hour, and he does not tolerate being questioned or disagreement

4. It seems that the company only hires female newcomers (the boss says women are more detail-oriented)

5. There are no supervisory positions. Before I left, it was just the boss, the boss's wife, and me—a small company. The boss's children would also practice piano, do homework, and so on in the office

(I have left the company. The following are my personal impressions and the situations I encountered at this company.

I recommend that newcomers joining this company understand how to protect their rights. Before I left, the boss verbally notified me that, citing poor work performance and ineffective results, he would not pay me the full salary amount we had originally agreed on for that month. He also wanted me to voluntarily give up my full-time salary and finish the remaining month at an intern's wage until he found a replacement. Because the previous two colleagues had experienced similar situations when they resigned, I anticipated that the boss would use roughly the same explanation, so I had already looked up the relevant regulations in advance. I refused him on the spot, told him that I could not possibly agree to such an arrangement, and insisted that if the matter could not be resolved as he wished, we could both go to the Labor Bureau for mediation. As soon as the boss heard “Labor Bureau” and “mediation,” he immediately became furious and ordered me to leave. However, I did receive the full salary owed to me, and I was very happy to be able to leave immediately without waiting for a replacement to start.)
