Read the community guidelinesThe boss, Adrian Young, is Australian and leaves work every day around 3–4 p.m., so he doesn’t really manage things either; he only looks at the numbers at the end of the month.
- The air quality in the workplace is extremely poor
- The air conditioner blows directly onto your head
- There is no year-end bonus (you must have worked for at least one year; the fixed amount is one month’s salary)
- The company provides a mobile phone, and you are required to respond to the boss’s messages on weekends
- The boss can speak Chinese but always pretends that he cannot.
- There is no finance staff in Taipei, so salaries are often paid late (because the finance department is in Hong Kong and the Philippines)
- Salaries are generally lower than those offered by other companies in the same industry
- During interviews, they say there are bonuses, but once you actually join, you never receive them
- There has been only one employee trip in 10 years, and there are no spring banquets or start-of-year red envelopes (because they claim to be a foreign company)
