The boss is very good at making empty promises. When faced with unreasonable client demands or work unrelated to employees’ duties, he always takes them on just to save face and curry favor, without considering whether the employees underneath have received training in the relevant skills. He also keeps accepting several contracts per quarter at unreasonably low prices, to the point that his own employees cannot cope. He never restrains the clients and only pressures his own people. He even takes on problems from other companies, all just for “face”!
He also likes to smoke indoors, seriously affecting employees’ health. He tells people to work overtime, but then spends the time drinking and fooling around nearby. He makes other people handle work in his own area of expertise while he drinks and fools around with his friends. He spends the entire day out in meetings without actually getting anything done. When an issue needs to be discussed, he refuses to face it; after employees clean up the mess themselves, he then takes credit and says that this is “training.”
In short, management operates without any rules and loves to shirk responsibility. They regard their style as “FreeStyle,” when in reality they neither manage anything nor are willing to face actual problems. In a short time, nearly all of the company’s very limited staff had resigned. It is utterly absurd.
I advise friends who want to work hard and advance to skip this place. Three months of mental torture here can equal three years elsewhere.
