Read the community guidelines1. Flexible working hours from 8:30 to 9:00
2. For people who love drinks... the company orders drinks every day (of course, you pay for your own)
The boss is very good at painting a rosy picture. Here are the promises the boss made to me during the interview:
1. A salary adjustment of 0–20% after the probationary period (you should be grateful for even a NT$1,000 raise—I’ve heard of people getting raises of just a few hundred dollars)
2. Irregular profit-sharing bonuses (if there’s no profit, there won’t be any)
3. A year-end bonus every year (in recent years, even people with good performance reviews got at most half a month’s salary, thanks)
4. A year-end banquet and employee trip every year (held together; if you don’t attend, you can’t participate in the year-end banquet raffle! The smallest prize is NT$100, and they’re all gift vouchers, not cash)
5. A domestic trip one year and an overseas trip the next (I only found out later that “overseas” meant the outlying islands)
