Start work at 9 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m. They won’t ask you to work overtime, and it’s even less likely that they’ll pay you overtime.
Growth gained
Learn how to file complaints and apply for mediation, and remember this well: whatever you do, don’t become management like this.

The company uses the Mei An system
Often, you finish writing something, but the system won’t accept it. If you want to improve your programming skills, don’t waste your time here.
The company’s management style
CEO Chen + Vice President Li + Salesperson Xiao, along with a whole group of disposable graphic designers (they usually resign after around three months). Vice President Li really likes holding meetings to lecture everyone. Don’t expect the sales team to tell you anything about the projects they bring back; you’ll still have to find a way to research the contracts yourself, or tactfully ask the clients.
Salary and benefits
There is a five-day probationary period during the week before signing the contract, for which you only receive a total transportation allowance of NT$1.5k. The salary is NT$22k + NT$3k (perfect-attendance bonus), but the contract will only state NT$22k. Then, after you resign, they will deliberately withhold the perfect-attendance bonus and transportation allowance, insisting that they are following the contract. But unfortunately for them, this is illegal, so don’t quietly accept the loss—report it to the Labor Bureau.
None
1. The company has no systems whatsoever, and supervisors only know how to shirk responsibility.
2. The salary is NT$25,000, including a NT$3,000 perfect-attendance bonus.
3. The company's financial situation is concerning, and salaries are paid in two or three installments.
4. I resigned in mid-March, and the company still hasn't paid my salary. They don't read or respond to messages, and they hung up when I called.
Please think carefully.
Not sure whether being a startup is an advantage.
1. During the interview, you will be interviewed together with other candidates, which is extremely disrespectful to the interviewees.
2. The interviewers compare candidates with one another and make sarcastic remarks, using disrespectful humor to lighten the atmosphere.
3. If you plan to bring your own résumé, you might as well not bring it, because the interviewer will not even look at it.
They will probably only look at the company’s application form that you hastily filled out when you first arrived.
4. If you have been out of work for a while, the interviewer will keep pressing you about what you were doing during that time.
5. One person takes on multiple roles; employees handle five projects themselves, covering both front-end and back-end development.
None
1. Salary: A front-end engineer earns 25k per month. Most websites are built using packages, and one person is expected to take on multiple roles, such as PM, UI/UX, and RD.
2. During the interview, the interviewer repeatedly left the interview room. When they saw that one candidate’s work was good, they called employees over to look at the work together.
3. If you want to improve your technical skills, consider another company. If you feel engineers deserve better pay than this, consider another company.
Note: The interviewer had never heard of Vue.js and could not even pronounce Bootstrap! It felt like an outsider managing experts.
It seems that the startup is currently recruiting heavily.
All candidates were scheduled for the same time, making the initial interviews very rushed and brief. It felt like people had gone out of their way to come, only for it to end so quickly.
