The smell of smoke (from the boss)
A smell of feces, urine, and farting wafts out; the restroom is right next to the seating area (...you know what I mean)
One person takes on multiple roles but receives only one salary
Neither 3C nor technology-focused; mainly sells Chinese-made injection-molded phone cases, tablet cases, and accessories, then repackages them as a Taiwanese brand
Petty-minded and narrow-visioned + an overall atmosphere of empty promises + a sense of being a sunset industry
Pros
You can learn to become more calculating and enjoy secondhand smoke.
Those who want to become more scheming, come to Sideman!
Cons
1. The boss deliberately comes to chat with you and tells you to do things just before the end of the workday.
2. If you have value to exploit, you are treated like a treasure; if you have no value to exploit, you are treated like grass. In fact, they keep a bunch of useless people around.
3. A certain Vice President Chen smiles while hiding a knife and is two-faced.
4. A certain Vice President Chen is both the human and the ghost.
5. The salary and benefits are extremely poor; whether you work overtime is your own problem.
6. A certain Boss Lin, Boss Lai, and Vice President Chen use all kinds of methods and excuses to kick out an employee once they have finished exploiting them.
7. There is a strong smell of smoke in the office. The boss and coworkers smoke on the balcony every day, and the boss also bursts into laughter from time to time. Of the boss’s eight-hour workday, I estimate that six hours are spent on the balcony sharing secrets and badmouthing employees. Anyone who wants to get lung cancer can come work here.
8. A certain Boss Lai and Vice President Chen are extremely suspicious. Even when you look at your phone or reply to a message during downtime, they complain and constantly monitor you.
9. Employees are treated worse than dogs. The company still hasn’t given out Lunar New Year red envelopes this year, and they make you do everything from design to moving and packing goods.
10. The boss will suddenly stand in the distance or behind an employee and secretly watch without saying anything.
Note: This company has infinitely many shortcomings,
so there is no way to list them all one by one.
In summary, based on the 10 shortcomings above,
anyone who wants to waste their life, ruin their health, remain stuck on low pay forever, or even personally destroy their career should hurry and join this company.
I did learn some things, which is a plus, I guess. The colleagues were fairly easy to get along with.
To be honest, although I learned quite a lot in a few months, I was laid off because of some changes at the company, which left me feeling very resentful and disappointed.
It felt like I was discarded once the busy period was over.
