The interviewer kept praising how impressive the things he had developed were, while repeatedly emphasizing his own tragic life story.
He criticized former employees who had worked at the company in person, saying they had various problems, and criticized other potential collaborators for dressing inappropriately. Little did he realize that speaking negatively about employees in front of an interviewee only made him seem arrogant and rude.
After I sent a very sincere message declining the job, there was no response at all, confirming my intuition from before the interview: this is a company that has no respect whatsoever for its employees.

The salary discussed isn’t the actual salary they pay. It’s the salary they say they’ll give you if you perform well, and then they give you less than even NT$22,000.
