The company owner and managers have relatively traditional mindsets. If you don't have much of a vision or ambition, this place is completely heaven for you—as long as you agree with everything the owner says. The owner likes employees like that. If you try to suggest that he make changes or offer recommendations, most of the time he will listen and tell you that he is considering them, but ultimately everything is still done according to his wishes.
At work, you have to do many meaningless and time-consuming things. After doing a lot of them, you'll realize that you're just wasting effort and mental energy on things that are completely unnecessary. Here, your expertise will be buried because the owner only likes people who are obedient and willing to do miscellaneous tasks. As for company matters, ever since the company was established, it has talked about developing its own branded products, but not a single one has been successfully developed. Your expertise is completely useless here because he doesn't trust your professional judgment and will only do things according to his own ideas. Frankly speaking, it is not easy for the company to keep going for several more years despite its poor operating condition. The benefits are not very good, and there is little prospect for development. This workplace is more suitable for obedient people without their own ideas. Those considering coming here should think twice.
1. Good relationships among colleagues
2. Occasional group meals
If you are obedient and have no opinions of your own, this is a great fit—100% recommended.
Because the boss places great importance on workplace ethics: whatever the managers do is considered very hard work, while whatever the employees underneath do is deemed to need further improvement.
The company is in the creative industry, but the boss’s thinking is very old-fashioned. Many things are blocked by the boss personally, and then the company says performance is poor.
The thinking is very naive and immature.
There are few employees, so perhaps the relationships are good?
A startup that has only been around for one or two years, so it lacks stability.
They said that a shareholder had withdrawn, so the number of employees was reduced, and the company is about to move to a smaller office.
Neither of the two planned products was ultimately made, so there are currently no creative product design projects.
The job and experience requirements were not clearly stated on 104, and resumes were not screened at all before interviews. As a result, after going there, filling out a bunch of forms, and attending the interview, they only then said that I did not meet the requirements.
The salary is absurdly low. The actual position is product mechanical designer, requiring several years of experience, for 25–28k.
I think the last point is the most outrageous; consider the others for yourself.
