Pros

The location is close to Taipei Main Station.

Cons

The company is a retailer and distributor of photographic equipment, so the store displays many cameras, tripods, and dry cabinets. On the day of the interview, the manager conducting the interview was still interviewing the previous candidate, so I waited for approximately 2–3 minutes after arriving. The manager then began introducing the company. It was established by Singaporeans, and its salary and benefits primarily follow the requirements of the Labor Standards Act. The position became available because the person originally responsible for it had to resign for health reasons. The company said it is undergoing a transformation and plans to focus mainly on dry cabinets as its flagship product. Since it is a small company, employees also need to help one another with receiving and shipping goods, sales invoices, and the arrangement of products in the store. Although opportunities are rare, employees may occasionally participate in photography exhibitions. The manager responsible for the business did not ask many questions about my previous work experience or main responsibilities.

If you are not taking public transportation, you need to arrive early because parking near the company is difficult. In addition, the company has fewer than approximately 10 employees, so the job will not consist solely of accounting work; employees will also need to support one another. This is something that some people should take into consideration.
