Initially declined the interview invitation and had already replied declining, yet they called to say that never happened...
Claimed the team only needed: the manager himself + one designer + one frontend developer + one backend developer
Yet then told me that this system is currently being maintained by a team of five outsourced workers...
Went on and on about how he had just started the company, urging me to quickly take this leadership position, saying how many great things would happen in the future...
After I declined, he instead lashed out at the interviewee:
“Do you really have to have someone work alongside you in order to get things done?”
“Can’t you work alone?”
“Are you lacking confidence in your ability to handle this position?”
