1. Working overtime at night is considered expected. If you leave work at a normal time too often, the boss’s wife will think you have too much free time and assign you tasks from other job sites. Cooperating on holidays is taken for granted (there is no such thing as double overtime pay).
2. The boss is actually fairly decent, but he will not refuse clients, so the client’s needs always come first—including on holidays, of course. If you are too often unable to cooperate at night or on holidays, he will actually be unhappy about it, because working overtime at night is considered expected and cooperating on holidays is taken for granted.
3. The company does not proactively provide salary statements. You have to request them yourself, and even then, they only provided statements for the first three months; after that, they stopped providing them.
4. The boss often changes appointments at the last minute or makes appointments with clients on his own at the last minute. What was discussed today may be different tomorrow, and he may even forget what he himself said (regarding the projects you are responsible for).
5. The boss’s wife is nice when she is in a good mood, but once you do something that makes her unhappy, things will become difficult. Her attitude toward you will become extremely poor; she changes her face as quickly as turning a page.
6. The boss and his wife are very gossipy and often discuss others behind their backs. They try to get closer to employees but always make strange gestures, such as accidentally seeing your Line messages on your computer and then reading them aloud.
7. The company has surveillance cameras with audio recording. They always say they do not normally watch the cameras, but in fact, they do listen.
8. When the boss has time and is in a good mood, he is fairly willing to teach people. However, you first have to judge whether he is in a good mood; he is very emotional.
9. The company’s projects basically send many contractors to the site many times, so the contractors often complain that it is very inefficient.

11. The company’s design process is somewhat strange. Whether the contract is signed before or after depends on the client, so there is no set process. The items and descriptions on the quotations are also often different from what is actually done. Prices are quoted to the client, and afterward the boss adds this and that himself, then asks how much profit is left……
12. Sometimes, in order to win a project, the boss promises the client that work can begin within an extremely short period, so you can expect to rush drawings until you feel like you are going to die.
13. In fact, the clients the company deals with are generally very good. However, whenever a dispute arises, the boss and his wife do not think it is their own problem; they only think the client is difficult, and privately they keep complaining about how unreasonable the client is.
14. During the interview, they make everything sound very good and say someone will guide you through the entire process. In reality, they only tell you, “I’ll teach you what to say/do,” and then send you to the site, saying that you should tell them if you encounter any problems.
15. If you plan to resign, prepare yourself mentally to be treated coldly. Questions after leaving may also first be met with an extremely unpleasant attitude.
