The sales department is very underdeveloped; four managers left within a year. It claims to be a multinational company, but hardly anyone in the office understands English. People who say they cannot do something are simply told not to do it, and the department’s work atmosphere is very poor.
The on-site overtime pay is very high.
The on-site maintenance personnel have absolutely no technical skills. Their work consists entirely of wiping off grease, cleaning, and taking photos for records; they have even used old photos to falsify records and maintain the illusion that the overhead crane grab buckets are being properly maintained.
The situation with clocking in for others is serious. This occurs at both the Taipei headquarters and the Taichung branch. There have even been cases where personnel were caught and asked to resign. The maintenance personnel in central Taiwan cannot do anything; when they frequently travel to repair equipment, they not only fail to fix it but sometimes make it worse.
The falsification is far too serious: data is falsified, maintenance is falsified, fieldwork is falsified, and repairs are falsified—everything is done fraudulently. However, as long as you go along with it, you can still enjoy an easy life every day.
