Read the community guidelines1. Employees can try quite a lot of new products for free.
2. The bonuses for the three major holidays are about $1,000–1,200, which is fairly decent.
3. The boss adds extra prizes to the year-end banquet raffle (but I only attended once).
1. The supervisor is quite fond of making things difficult and splitting hairs.
2. Policies and instructions change constantly, information is often inconsistent, and having to verify everything one by one is very troublesome.
3. The system is completely unacceptable, but as long as it is an order from the supervisor, you still have to carry it out no matter how unreasonable it is.
(Because performance was poor, they came up with many strange ways to increase sales opportunities, but everyone knew they were completely unfeasible—and, as expected, performance got even worse, haha.)
4. If your performance is not very good, they will call you in for a meeting.
It is actually just publicly putting you on the spot and shaming you. They will bring up things from the past to criticize you, and question you in an accusatory manner 👍🏻
5. Everyone has to travel to other counties or cities for meetings. You have to get up at around 5 a.m. and take transportation, and the workday seems to be about 12 hours long.
⚠️ And then!!!! Here comes the important part!!!
You are forced not to claim overtime pay. The esteemed supervisor will say: “This is company tradition; no one claims overtime pay for meetings.” Only after the Labor Standards Act was brought up and they realized they were in the wrong did they change the schedule??
6. You may be assigned to support the central factory for several days.
At first, they ask whether you are willing—“not mandatory.”
Later, when you are not very comfortable with it and tactfully tell your supervisor that you want to stay in your original position, the supervisor will drag you away and scold you, asking why you can refuse. “Are you the boss?”
Then, in a threatening tone, they ask: “If there is an out-of-town assignment in the future, will you go?” What could I say? 😍
