The company atmosphere feels very conservative. Before work, everyone cleans the environment, and because the air conditioning is not turned on, the owner's wife personally turns it on only after the cleaning is finished. During work, the owner's wife plays educational radio programs and expects everyone to listen while working. After work, no stationery may be left on the desks; the next day, you will be reminded to put your pens away. If you go in for a trial period of a few days, you will not be paid, and you will not clock in or out. I also seem to remember rules such as not being paid if you worked for less than a week, or not being covered by labor and health insurance during the first month. Perhaps these rules have changed by now… Then, the starting salary is very low… I remember hearing that it used to be NT$20,000 for the first three months and NT$22,000 after three months… It has probably changed by now too…
The company's toilet is a squat toilet…
