The company does not provide annual leave as required by law, instead offering a “one-month diligence bonus for employees who do not take leave.” You can still request leave when you genuinely have something to attend to, but this nevertheless violates the Labor Standards Act in practice, and applying for leave is quite difficult. If you are a supervisor’s relative or someone with a specific connection, taking leave is relatively easy; other employees face numerous difficulties.
Internal management issues are evident:
• Uneven workforce allocation: More capable employees are often relied on excessively, while some employees remain idle for long periods.
• Imbalanced evaluation standards: The company values seniority more than ability, resulting in ineffective management of senior employees.
• Complex departmental culture: Some senior employees have excessive influence, causing organizational operations to become imbalanced.
There are also concerns regarding working conditions:
• Overtime pay: The company does not pay the required overtime rate of 1.34 times the regular wage under the Labor Standards Act.
• Loose workplace discipline: Some employees arrive late or handle personal matters during working hours, and may even disappear from their posts for extended periods.
Overall, the company lacks a well-developed management system, and the differences in workload among employees are substantial. Those considering joining are advised to evaluate the opportunity carefully.
