Pros

Position interviewed for: HR Recruitment Specialist

The interview atmosphere was quite good, and the interview ended after 15–20 minutes.

Cons

At first, it was somewhat difficult to coordinate the interview time. HR said that the position was highly sought-after, so if a time before Wednesday could not be arranged, it might not be possible to proceed. The office occupies the second and third floors. The interview took place on the third floor, but the entire space seemed to consist of seats for customer service staff. The basic information form also required entering a Facebook account and average monthly expenses. The company mainly makes health supplements. Since it recently opened a branch in Kaohsiung, employees may need to provide support if there is a staff shortage. HR kept boasting that the benefits and compensation were good, including year-end and mid-year bonuses totaling at least 2.5–3 months' salary. If performance targets were met, the entire company would go to Bali for five days this January. HR salaries are mainly based on what was agreed upon when joining—for example, if the starting salary is NT$27,000, the salary increases according to how many people are recruited each month, and this affects performance evaluations and the year-end bonus. The company felt very much like a health-supplement company engaged in aggressive sales (direct selling).
