Cons

I am not from northern Taiwan, and on the day of the interview I left half an hour early because I was worried I would not be able to find the location. However, the navigation led me to a completely wrong place. I went around Xinzhu MRT Station several times, and when I saw that there were only 10 minutes left before the scheduled interview time, I called the company to tell them where I was and ask for the correct address. Their response was unclear, and they also said that it was getting close to their lunch break. They asked what time I could arrive, but I did not even know how far away I was from the company. Pressured by their questioning, I told them to give me another 15 minutes to look for it.

After searching for 10 minutes, I really did not want to waste each other's time any further, so I called the company and said I was very sorry, but I really could not find their location. To avoid delaying their break, the interview might have to be canceled, and they agreed. However, the next day I received a notification from the job bank that I had been reported for being absent from the interview without justification. I was truly dumbfounded. This was also my most unpleasant interview experience.

Pros

During the interview, they said you could learn a lot and that the work would be very challenging. The expected benefits were provided, there was a coding test, and they strongly indicated that they would notify you quickly about the start date.

Cons

A small company with no more than three people, located in a residential apartment building. The building’s lighting was dim and very frightening. In addition, after notifying the applicant that they had been hired, the company went back on its decision, causing the job seeker significant losses.
