On the second day, after work, I saw the attendance sheet with the supervisor’s signature from the previous day.
Why didn’t anyone tell me that I had to clock out after work?
I said, “I was eating,” and only then found out that I had an attendance record?
I also asked my coworker, “I didn’t know about the attendance sheet this morning…”
I didn’t clock in?
Only then did my coworker tell me to get the supervisor’s signature
(because the company was cooking sesame oil chicken).
It was my first time in that room,
and that was when I saw my name on it… I was speechless.
It felt really… like I wasn’t valued.
