The boss’s wife does not trust people, frequently changes her story, and has a very strong need for control.
Basically, there are no salary adjustments. There are two days off each week: one fixed on Sunday, and the other scheduled by yourself. There is no day off when a public holiday falls on a workday, and no typhoon days off.
The monthly salary calculation method is very strange. It is not calculated from the 1st to the 31st of each month, but by week instead. As a result, the days off at the beginning of each month are linked to those at the end of the previous month. Therefore, this month’s salary must also be checked against the time-clock records from the end of last month. From an employee’s perspective, each month’s salary should be settled independently and have nothing to do with the previous month, but the boss’s wife believes this calculation method is more convenient for her.
Wages are paid in cash, but proof of salary receipt is not signed and stamped each month when wages are paid. I resigned before completing one year, and only at the time of resignation was I told that the salary receipt records for every month had to be stamped all at once.
