No working overtime; leave work on time
Fewer things to do when business is slow
1. A small family-owned business: the owner, the owner’s younger brother, two part-time employees, and one full-time employee
2. The owner has extremely strange ideas, is overly petty, occasionally launches personal attacks, and likes to lecture others despite not following his own advice
3. The environment is dirty and messy and is never cleaned; the stuffed toys are full of dust and lint
4. Typhoon days off are unpaid, and the bonuses for the three major holidays are not paid if you took leave a few days before the holiday
5. They try to cheat you out of your annual leave by misleading you about how many days you are entitled to after working for a certain number of years
6. No benefits whatsoever. In the nearly three years I worked there, apart from the year-end banquet, I never had anything to eat or drink. A few times, such as at the Mid-Autumn Festival, they gave us two pomelos and called them a gift
7. The filtered water tastes strongly of disinfectant; bring your own drinking water
8. The owner is extremely difficult to deal with—vendors, customers, and anyone else who has dealt with him all know this
9. The owner thinks he is very clean and does not allow tissues or other garbage to be thrown into the trash can unless they are wrapped up or flattened (apparently even garbage has to be flattened)
10. Whenever payday arrives, he starts nitpicking
11. During the severe stage of the pandemic, he did not wear a mask. After the owner himself contracted COVID-19, he did not tell employees to take rapid tests
12. Run away
Generally, you can arrive at and leave work on time.
1. Employees are expected to work across departments.
2. Pay is deducted for being late, but no overtime pay is provided; there are special rules for taking leave.
3. The company's internal policies take precedence over labor laws.
4. They say one thing, do another, and put on an act.
5. Employees are left to take responsibility and make decisions on their own.
6. Everything depends on the boss's mood that day.
7. The company has fewer than 10 employees, but there are endless internal emails to read.
8. Design work is expected to meet a designer's drawing standards, execute template-based production requests like a graphic artist, and produce images at the speed of a photocopier.
9. Poor work environment and atmosphere.
