Read the community guidelinesPros: You can leave as soon as you see the red light, and beyond that there probably aren't any particularly notable advantages.
Most companies have some advantages; the boss is very personable, although they don't show it.
Every old company inevitably has its share of problems. The back-office staff work themselves half to death, while the salespeople are less capable than the next. Some are just waiting to retire, some can't be moved even when scolded, and some blame the back-office staff when they can't make a sale... Later, sales performance becomes so poor that it turns into a problem for all employees. The back-office staff work overtime to produce results, only to become the targets of the boss and the boss's wife indiscriminately firing criticism. If you're applying for a back-office position, I recommend thinking it over, because even if you don't slack off, the sales team's lack of ability can make it seem as though you contribute nothing to the company.
