The company's main products are gardening supplies, and it is engaged in trading. Most of its customers are large U.S. chain retailers, so there is sometimes a time difference with overseas customers. Working overtime until 7 p.m. is the norm (according to the boss).
When discussing salary and benefits in the interview, I asked for a take-home salary of 33K (after labor and health insurance deductions), while the boss offered 33,800. At first, that sounded quite high, but he quickly glossed over the fact that this included the 6% labor pension contribution. This is something the employer is required to contribute separately—perhaps they are trying to mislead people who don't know. I hope future applicants will be careful.
